Trying to choose between Morehouse and NEOMED and interested in doing general surgery, and don’t live in either state.

Is attending an HBCU looked down upon?

Morehouse
-Everyone says Grady Clinical rotations are top notch
-Know a few people that go there
-H/P/F Grading System
-Established School
-Students are happy - family like

-Primary care driven
-Atlanta Traffic
-Worried about not fitting in
-Cost of Living
-Letter Grades Clinicals

NEOMED
Pros
-Cleveland Clinic Rotation
-Cheaper Cost of living
-Higher Ranked
-Calmer Area

Cons
-Honors/HP/P/F - Grading System
-Don’t know anyone that goes there
-Rural
-New curriculum
