Hey everyone quick question on the nephron. So I understand that reabsorption and secretion occur in both proximal and distal tubules but where does each primarily occur? Some sources are saying that reabsorption occurs primarily in be proximal and secretion mainly in the distal. Is this right?
Also for ADH and aldosterone: so ADH increases permeability of water at the collecting duct to allow more water reabsorption. For aldosterone does the reabsorption of sodium occur in the distal tubule or both distal tubule and collecting duct? I'm getting mixed answers.
If someone could clear this up for me Id really appreciate it.
Thanks!
