Which one is typically seen with periorbital edema?

I had originally learned that it was nephrotic, due to the massive loss of albumin there was severe decrease in oncotic pressure, which presents as generalized edema, specifically presenting early in the periorbital area.

However as I review for step 1, I see resources alternating which has periorbital edema.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a non-specific sign and can present in either Nephrotic or Nephritic.
Classically it is described in Nephrotic but if the loss of albumin is rapid enough then it can be seen in Nephritic also.
