Hey guys, theres so much talk about the wreb and everyones experiences but I was just wondering if anyone has any idea how common it is to fail the operative/restorative section of the NERB after not getting any kind of automatic failure during the exam (like leaving caries or having an open contact). I'm talking just looking at the numerical score, how common is it to fail if 3 out of 4 parts of that section are scored 100%....ie void on the composite but everything else was graded well.

thanks!

I got an instruction to the candidate for my class 2 prep. My heart sank, I needed to add the tiniest amount of proximal clearance to my prep. I put a finishing strip in their called the monitor over and he gave me the okay. In the end I scored a 97 on the restorative section. So it must not have been to big a deduction.

Several of my classmates also got instructions to the candidate for high occlusion and they all passed to.

I would just make sure you don't have any automatic failures like open contacts, caries, and stuff like really obvious over extensions or under extensions.

I did not receive my results yet, is that a bad thing ? Is there anyone out there with no obvious disasters that happened on the day of the exam but still awaiting their results???
