Tufts asks that we declare which of the two, between the NERB and WREB, we intend to take. It's obviously not binding, but when we arrive they group us with other students that plan to take one or the other at the end of dental school. It's called the Building Bridges program. It seems like a great idea, and a good way to get guidance from D3 and D4 students.
Anyway, I searched, but I have not found any recent posts that were well discussed and compared the two. I want to live on the east coast after I graduate, so I assumed I would just take the NERB, but it seems like the WREB is reviewed in the few older posts as being a better dental boards exam. It's not as much that people say the material is easier, but it's just set up better. If that's incorrect, please feel free to chime in with your differing experience. The WREB seems like it's accepted by many states on the east coast as well. Basically, are there any disadvantages to doing the WREB if I want to practice on the east coast? Has anyone had experience with either test that could give their input about whether or not they would suggest the route they too?
Thanks a lot.👍
