Hello everyone,

So I have to create a Nerd Book for my Vet Class and I don't even know where to begin. (In case you are wondering, a nerd book is a quick reference guide that you make, it can fit right in the scrub/lab coat pocket) I have tabs in the book in alphabetical order right now, but I think that I am going to change that. Do anyone have an idea on how to create this book. Do anyone have one? Show and Tell please :pompous:

We got one when we entered clinics. It was basically a compilation of the information that the upperclassmen found important on different rotations. For example, vaccination protocols for Outpatient, neuro exam findings and what they mean for Neuro, fluid rate calculations for Emergency. Honestly, I never used it. I ended up asking for Sophia Yin's Nerdbook for my birthday and it was the best thing that's ever happened to me. It's so detailed and contains almost everything you could ever want to quickly reference while on clinics.

What kind of vet class is this? Are you in tech school? It depends on the context of the class/what you'll be doing.

I just use Sophia Yin's nerdbook and it's incredible. It's turned into more of a textbook now than a quick reference book, so try to get your hands on an older edition. If you have to make your own, I would organize it by system and then create a table of contents at the beginning of each system.

I did say that "I HAVE TO CREATE ONE" not that I need one or need to buy one. But thanks anyway guys

Was going to make suggestions, now I am going to take my time and study virology. Peace.

A good page for your book would be: "Be polite when asking others for their help."

Only one person suggested a book to purchase. Cool your jets. You've just guaranteed that no one else will be willing to help you now.
