Run 10 miles right before your interview. You won't have any energy left to be nervous. Then get drunk and listen to the bible on your ipod as you count the number of xanax you are going to take before you go in. Good luck.

okay since you are a girl, as me, u can do what i did. It really helped.
I checked into my nice hotel room. Filled up a bath with my cupcake bubble bath, and soaked in for an hour or so, while sipping on some red wine, and listenning to soft music.
Don't drink too much, bc u don't want to be hung over. But DO order wake up call, do eat breakfast (it will be a long day), do go to bathroom before interview (my stomach hurt sooooooooo bad).
Once you get there, u will see. Everyone will be nervous, but some ppl will play it off and say nah it is nothing. So just be yourself, smile and enjoy the ride.
Oh and try to get enough sleep, i barely slept an hour, bc my mind could not go to sleep.

to remedy the sleep problem, i didnt' sleep at ALL two nights before the interview. i just relaxed the whole day, but i fell asleep EARLy because of the lack of sleep. o... and dont drive around if u didn't sleep at all. i almost got into several accidents in my crappy rental car.
that's gross...depending on what you mean by helping her relieve herself.
i was speeding on the way back and got a ticket for going 27 miles over the speed limit. I was trying to get home fast, bc i was to tired, and falling asleep, so i had one too many starbucks and i was driving to the beat of my music... hehhehe. I almost went to jail!
Eat something. Nothing is worse than nervous jitters on an empty stomach- not to mention you don't want awkward stomach noises happening during the interivew.

talk with the other people interviewing. It'll help get the nervousness down because you'll be actively doing something. Hopefully you'll find out that you are a better applicant than them during it all and that'll make you feel better. Actually, I'd suggest talking about nothing relating to your application or dental school. Just talk about stupid stuff.
That's how it worked with me...all of a sudden it was time to interview and I had spent the entire morning talking to people. I didn't have time to get worked up.
Also, know your application well...and know "Why dentistry" and "Why this school?".

RELAX. your interview performance is inversely proportional to how nervous you are or appear to be.
i was a wreck when i went into my first interview.....afterwards i was kicking myself in the ass because there was no need to be nervous. walk into your interview knowing you must have done something right to get the interview. walk in feeling confident and with the attitude "whatever happens, happens".

Try to picture yourself naked in front of your interviewers. NO! - the other way around - picture your interviewers naked.
Alternatively, get some exercise the day before the interview and a good night's sleep.
