So, my intent to register at UC Davis has been received and i got an e-mail confirmation, but I still feel weary about withdrawing all my apps (too late I already did). I haven't paid any deposit at UCD and its making me a little nervous. Please tell me I'm being lame and I don't need to worry. 🙂

HI PreMedAG,

No worries. Go celebrate! You're in. There would have to be a MAJOR issue for them to withdraw the offer.

Congrats! BTW, I did my undergrad at Davis. I loved it.

did you withdraw from everywhere you applied? even the other UC's which have already offered you interview invites?

no i'm still going to UCI and UCLA.. and I only withdrew from schools that i was accepted to and schools that I had interviews scheduled that I didn't want to go to

don't worry. you're being lame.

happy? 😉 seriously, enjoy the fact that you're in. if the school is holding your spot, don't sweat it. very nice.

I got an acceptance letter in the mail, and sent in my intent to register. Should I wait until they confirm in writing the receipt of my intent to register before I send in my withdrawal letters to other schools, or is the letter offering me a spot in their class proof enough?! Help! 😳

thanks.. i needed that...

correct me if im wrong..but i thought you can hold multiple spots until may 15th...and you don't have to send the 100 dollars till may 15th correct? so...essentially you can be holding like 5 places at a time until you come to your final decision?

I'm correcting you cuz you're wrong ha ha.. just kidding. I got accepted to osteo schools too and they have non refundable deposits and deadlines... hence my need to make decisions rapidly...

Plus it's not nice to hold onto multiple acceptances! 🙂

Pinkertinkle - I received a phone call from the med student who interviewed me, then a phone call from terri, then terri sent out a big packet with the intent to register.
