Any words of wisdom from previous interviewees? The feedback page didn't really do much for me...

I'll be there next week so any info would be appreciated...

do i really need to be there at 7am?>

I'm going there in a couple of weeks and would appreciate some words of wisdom too. But i was told this much by my friend who goes there. You need to call Cassandra Sooter, whose info was on the interview letter, 48 hours in advance of the interview and then she tells you when your interviews are. So I think unless you have one at 7 am you don't need to be there that early. He also said it is NOT a stress interview and that it should be an enjoyable day and that his interview was very typical and conversational. Hopefully, that will hold true this year as well.

Damn. It makes me nervous just reading these posts... and I haven't even gotten an interview yet! Haha.

Why stressed?

Don't be silly. My interview experience at Stanford was actually pretty good.

I think i should post on Interview Feedback but it was as simple as it could get.

Congrats on the new accept DoctorKevin. Remember what I told you I thought your final outcome would be?? What's your new school??

Oh, it was NYMC, I really want to go to New York but I'm declining this one of course.... I'm hoping to hear from Einstein soon...

I only wish if it were true... +pity+

Don't be nervous about the Stanford interview. Interviewers are just trying to get to know you as a person, not to scare you or intimidate you.

The cool thing about my Stanford interviews was that they were coordinated in such a way as to ensure that the interviewer and I had something in common (research background, hometown, etc...). Both of my interviews were very pleasant. And since it was my very last medical school interview, I felt good to end on such a positive note.

In addition to all that jazz, everyone in the office was truly supportive (from the dean on down to the financial aid advisor).
...and the anatomy labs are beautiful...

Recap: pretty low stress day...though unnecessarily long....
