I can't believe I am this nervous before my first interview! Hopefully all goes well, but after having been on the other side of the table at work, and despite knowing that in reality hopefully the interviewer is my advocate if I play my cards right, I'm still nervous I'll just slip or blank on a really easy question. Or worse, stumble inarticulately on one of the standard questions like "why medicine"... I think it is just undue pressure b/c of the huge risk I took in putting aside my old career and trying to get into medical school.

Anyway, words of encouragement would be wonderful 🙂 For those of you who's first interviews are coming up, good luck!! :luck:

Everything will be alright. You got an interview. And they must like what you had to say so far so just keep saying it. Keep it simple. Nobody is wowing anybody with oratories on this or that.

Just some seasoned people in the trade deciding whether or not they like you and believe you or whathaveyou. So I dig you. I think you're F'n rad. So go like yourself. And have a groovy interview.

My own neurotic sidenote. As I sit wearing the same pair of shoes you are. Is that I think somebody spiked my drink cause I keep waiting to get nervous. But it just more of a pleasant curiosity of what's around the next corner. Maybe that's more weird.

Your gonna kill kid.

you'll do fine. trust me.

I agree. You'll be fine! I just had my first interview the other week and was soooo nervous in the weeks leading up to it. Needless to say, it was so relaxed and just all about me and my interests and how I'd fit in with the school - no need to worry. Downside of this is now I have no anxiety for the upcoming interviews...I need to find something to keep me on my toes :/
