Nervous!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I definitely think we all are. We just have to try and remember that there is no competition. Also, that there are resources like other students, tutoring, and your professor. Ask questions, be curious because you are learning. Study hard but have balance too with other things in life like working out, hanging with friends etc. At least this is my plan and what I have heard are the most important things to remember. I'm going to do my best and hope for the best too!!!!

Yes, PT school will be hard - but your job will be to be able to reflect and change things around quick. Understand that you cannot necessarily study the same way for each class. Work towards your strengths, but those strengths may not prove best for all classes.

You will have multiple sources available to you - professors who are easily accessible, students who will be struggling alongside with you, and your fellow upperclassmen.

If you encounter poor performance or mistakes - reflect on it, identify the error, correct it, and move on.

My personal motto with PT school has been 'just keep swimming' - do not get stuck in the loophole of 'if I study more my grades will improve'. Study smart, not study more. You will be asked to build upon material, and all of the classes will connect in some way, shape or form - in the early stages it may not seem like it but as you move on with the curriculum you will soon get to see the fruits of your labor emerge.

I wish you guys luck 😀 you can do it!
