Have any of you used or know somebody who has used the international version of this text?

This text typically costs $75 or free if you join AMSA and ding your credit score w/ a BoA CC. However, the international version is approximately $45. The text is supposedly the same but I'm afraid the images might not match up or the images are black and white instead of color.

the pics are all the same, but the languages are different. arteries are in spanish, veins are in german, bones are in japanese, and nerves are in sign language. it's a great way to connect with your culturally diverse future patients.

just kidding...as far as i know its the same and many of my classmates used the international version and survived anatomy.

International editions are usually only different in that they are not hard cover and other such methods have been taken to reduce their weight for shipping to far off lands.

Most students use the soft cover version of Netter's.

When I was researching vendors to purchase the international version, many of them specifically mention things like the color pages so I was very confused whether there was actually a quality difference to the book or whether it was a charge US kids more money type of deal.

I am currenlty using a Netter International Edition. All in english. Same plates, same page numbers, I honestly do not know what the difference is between this and the version sold in America except that I purchased the international edition about 40-50 dollars cheaper had I bought the American edition instead (got it on ebay)

Apparently the only difference is that you don't get access to the online version.

Which is useless as far as I'm concerned anyway.

also using the international edition...much cheaper...exact same word for word...well except the cover doesn't have the cool holographic appearence...lol

international editions generally are soft-covered, have lower grade paper, printed in B&W, and cost cheaper.

YMMV.

My international edition is the same quality as all of the ones sold here. It is soft cover, but the pages are the same quality, the prints look exactly the same, and the labels are exactly the same.
I'd save the money where you can and just get the international edition from someone on Amazon.com or Half.com.
Mine actually held up better than the rest of my lab groups during our anatomy block.

I just finished an intimate semester with Netter's International that I got for dirt cheap on eBay. I did fine with it, it's identical to the regular book. The pages did fall apart though, but I think that's because I hated anatomy and I threw it around.
