Hey guys,
How important do you think networking is in terms of setting up your own practice in the future? I'm the first one in my family venturing into the dental profession so I really don't know much.
I, as some of you already noticed, am choosing between Tufts and USC. But the only thing that may sway me toward USC is the networking opportunities it offers. I heard that if you want to practice in SoCal, coming from USC will get you instantly setup as soon as you graduate. Is that true? I just don't understand how in the world do you get patients if you come from say the East Coast.
