currently a Neurology resident. I did an elective in NIR and liked it however was wondering about the work schedule as a private attending and not in an academic setting. Can you get 7 on 7 off 12 hour shifts or do you have to be on call 24 hours? If I settle for stroke fellowship only and also get a 7on/7off, as a stroke attending, do I see only stroke consults or there would be stroke-call days and the other days I’ll see general consults? Thank you.
