I'm scoping out my options for 3rd year electives (we get two 1-month blocks for electives during 3rd year) and one option is "Research Elective in Neurology."
I'm very interested in neuro and definitely would like to pursue a research opportunity at some point (haven't done much, yet), but is 1 month long enough to do anything worthwhile? Should I even bother with a research elective?
If so, what kinds of projects can be done/have you done during an elective? I know I can ask faculty, but figured I'd see if it's worth it from a student's perspective first.
Thanks.
