Neuro Step 1

Hello Future Doctors
What would be the best way to study Neuro for step 1 - my background in Neuro is weak and want to improve. Considering that my study time for Neuro is about 1-2 days and FA neuro is considered weak - what is an alternative resource? I looked at BRS Neuro but I cannot finish that book in 2days. Any suggestions?

I third the recommendation. HY Neuro has some *excellent* chapters and then some not so good ones. the brain sections, angios, the chapters on lesions, etc were a great refresher and i def recommend the book. as you'll see, there are some chapters that i just felt weren't all that relevant.

overall, neuro is an important part of step 1 and medicine in general. if there are things that you read in HY neuro and know are important, but that you just didnt manage to grasp yet, i would suggest looking things up in an additional source too. I had a problem with the seizures, for instance, so i used my neuro text book to quickly read those 3-4 pages (or can use wiki, etc). gluck

thank you for the information. I have BRS Neuro and the book is daunting for me - overkill in 2 days. I shall try HY Neuro.
