Hi guys, I’m going into neuro, but I’m doing a neurosurg elective right now (and have MICU after as my last rotation of 4th year-woot home stretch!). I was just wondering if there’s a good neuro ICU book you guys would recommend. I’m going to try to read Marino ICU book for ICU. So I’m kind of looking for a book that goes over the basics for neuro related ICU issues (with good explanations of phys, pathophys) that focuses on concepts rather than specifics of management. The Clinical Practice of Critical Care Neurology (Medicine) 2nd Edition by the same author? (it's 400 pages shorter)

Look into the "Pocket Guide to Neurocritical Care" offered through the Neurocritical Care Society. Cheap and effective.
