Just wanted to see if there were any neurointensivists out there to give any advice.
I'm a MS 2. I'm an osteopathic student. I've heard that research/publishing is important. I have a case report published in Annals of Thoracic Surgery. I used to be a cardiovascular perfusionist (run the heart-lunch machine). Does anyone have any comments about how necessary research is? And is better or feasible to do research my 3rd year during rotations as opposed to doing it during 2nd year while studying for boards.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
