Neurology empty spots

    Where are the empty PGY-2 and PGY-3 empty neurology spots are posted?

    Moving to the Neurology residency forum as this is a residency issue.

    Wow, looks like neurology was pretty competitive when moved to the regular match, good overall for neurology, bad for me!

    Where did you find out that it was pretty competitive this year when moved to the reg. match?

    I think for the past 4 years or so the number of open i.e. unmatched spots in neurology has decreased, I think this year it was about 19. So, based on this, I would say it is getting more competitive. Also, just because neurology was recently moved to regular match, doesn't mean that everybody knows this yet, word will eventually trickle down to new fourth year medical students about someone they knew who went into neurology during the regular match.
