Neurology/Psych residencies

I've noticed that neurology/psych residencies are offered at a few schools. It seems to just add one extra year onto the training. Does anyone here know more about these programs? What's the advantage of doing both?

I think they're two extra years, 5-yr. residency starting in PGY2.
