Okay guys,

I have been gone from SDN for a long time, but I need your help. UTSW for the first time has made Neurology a required rotation for the third years, and has changed it from a pass/fail to an A/B+/B/C course, and as a result the departmental test is now the shelf exam. Thus, everyone use to blow this off, but now, everyone who is starting off with this rotation has no idea how to prepare for it, so any advice on what books are best to study from, etc. for this exam would be really helpful, and I will pass along this information to the rest of my classmates. Thanks!

I used blueprints and scored high. I also think I did some pretest questions......pretty much every shelf, regardless of subject, can be conquered with blueprints and pretest. In my experience, the first aid series is not as good, and any bigger text is low yield.

That's just my experience....I'm not making any ultimate statements.

Oh, I also used Neurology Recall.....to wipe my butt with. 😎
