Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for summer opportunities for after your first year of medical school if you are interested in doing Neuro/Psych. I looked everywhere on the web but since it is such a new field, not much is available. Thanks for anyones help!!!

What exactly are you looking for? You need to broaden your search terms a bit, because opportunities in brain-based psychiatry are everywhere! Neuropsych really isn't that new--but there are some who seem to think that psychiatry has "just now" discovered that the brain is involved with behavior.

It depends on how research oriented you are, but how about looking to do some work in a neuroscience-oriented lab and learn some of the basic science that might have clinical applications down the line? Have you asked any of the faculty at your own medical school what they know of?
