Neuropsychologist starting salary - private hospital?

Hi all! I am finishing my APPCN member neuropsychology post doc and applying for jobs. What kind of starting salary should I be expecting/negotiating for at private hospitals / AMCs? Should I be looking at the Sweet salary survey and then adjusting for inflation? If so, it looks like 116k would be the target. Thank you!

Can depend on a number of factors, like what other benefits they might offer. But definitely at or over $100k.

Yeah would need to know the benefits offered along with salary, as well as expectations for productivity. Also, do you have psychometrist support?

1) Ask for ABOVE starting salary, which allows you some fall back.
2) Use medicine as a negotiation tool for things outside of income to include:
a. Schedule, to include admin time
b. Vacation that matches attending physicians
c. CE time that matches attending physicians
d. CE stipend that matches attending physicians
