I started with "Clinical neuroanatomy made ridiculously simple" I think i will need a book to supplement it, so:

High yield Neuroanatomy vs. USMLE Road Map: Neuroscience

I used road map during first year..a good book! However i recently bought high yield don't know how that will fare..but i hear both are great books. It comes down to your preference.

I used high yield neuroanatomy as well as ridiculously simple. Both were fine. More important than a good book is doing plenty of neuro questions and recognizing which topics are high yield. I had zero questions on mid-brain lesions, but several on the spinal cord, intracranial bleeds and tumors.

But since Road maps has some physiology wouldn't it be more useful?
And "Lamborghini" would you please let me know when you take a look at high yeild? you will be able to judge since you looked at both books 🙂

sure thing but you might have to wait till christmas..i won't hit any 1st year or low yield material until spring.
