Neurosurgery GONE from SFMatch!

😕Today I noticed that the Neurosurgery residency match portion is GONE from the SF Match site. There is a section for post residency NS fellowships and pre-residency research fellowships but the general NS residency match portion is missing!

I take it they are switching either to NRMP/ERAS or they are breaking off, to their own match (Urology, AUA). Or It is down temporarily.

Anyone have any information regarding this?

Could someone please tell me what difference this switch in matching for NS residency will cause? Will it increase the number of applicants and make it more competetive to match into? or is there going to be shift in dates for applications?

So much for using GS as a backup if the first neuro match doesn't work out 🙁 I wonder what the optimal strategy is now.
