i've searched the forums and cant seem to find anything.

Can someone explain what we need to know about neutronium?
What combination of temperature and pressure would cause its formation, and does it depend on the pre-existing elements?

to be honest i just came across it while watching some stephen hawking documentary, and am just pretty interested to what happens to elements/atoms prior to black hole formation.
