This is a super specific question and frankly isn't that important until after interviews (I'm still making my list of schools to apply to) but I'm curious. If I assume that I'm most likely to want to end up living in Nevada, but I like a couple California programs better, is there any big advantage to choosing Nevada so build connections etc, or should it be no problem moving from CA to NV? (Same answer apply to wanting to end up in Washington)?

I ask because on paper several of the california schools seem awesome! And because I've totally noticed that regional ties make stuff easier, but I dunno how close "regional" needs to be, aka West Coast vs state specific.

Thanks for any thoughts and/or speculation. 😀

It shouldn't really be a problem moving to NV after you've trained in CA. They're fairly close and NV is under served just about everywhere.

I wouldn't really let that factor in your decision making process.

That's 'what I figured, but I wanted to bounce it off someone. Thanks. 😉
