I've been trying to compile a list of all the new schools opening in 2008. So far, the ones I know of are:

Touro (in NY)
Thomas Jefferson
University of New England (professional program begins in 2009)
Sullivan
Western New England College (2008 or 2009)

Does anyone know any others? Someone told me one is supposed to open in Tennessee, but I cant find anything about it

College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD

Man, they need to chill with the new schools. At this rate, I'll be getting paid $15/hour by the time I'm 35....

on the topic of new schools, is it a bad idea to be in the first graduating class of a new pharm school?

chicago state university

question: why is it that people get angry when others ask "can i get in with theses stats" and "which school is easiest to get into" but they dont ever say anything when people ask about "new schools openeing". i think if you want to know...do some research yourself. this question gets asked a lot. i personally took the time to SEARCH the internet and i found a listing....all you have to do is look at the acpe site. or hell, just google new pharmacy school openeing 2008...that works too. everything you need to know is there. people should just take the time to search...

Union University in Jackson, TN has plans for the fall of 2008 or 2009, if all goes well.

i dont understand why people get bothered... i thought sdn was a source of information. it silly that when a person is bothered by a question, they spend thier time and energy criticising the post...from the grammar to the principle of asking such a quetsion.

i raised this issue to my brother who is a second year pharmacy student...his reply..."welcome to pharmacy"

relax everyone...smile, you'll live longer
