Does anyone know if admissions departments of most MD medical schools plan to change course prerequisites for applicants after 2015?

My state school has already made it clear on their website that addition to all the pre requisites reauired now they will be adding Psychology, Sociology, Biochemistry, and Statistics.

A cynic would say the profession is trying to keep physicians wages up by requiring more courses to even take the test and apply, and thus less applicants to medical school.. The CPA association, for example, now requires 150 credits to be a CPA, when before you just needed a bachelors degree (plus the practice hours under a CPA) and the extra 30 credits can be in anything.

Harvard has already listed their new requirements, other schools will probably follow suit.

I just looked at that. It seems that Harvard's requiring less in 2016. I was expecting to see psychology, sociology, and other major stuff.

There's really NO HUGE CHANGES unless I missed something!

Indiana is requiring biochem, psychology and sociology for class entering 2015.
