I've heard of new changes being implemented concerning duty hours of interns. something along the line of, the longest shift can be 16 hours? I was wondering how this is viewed by the ob-gyn community. Do you see this is a positive change or negative change, or perhaps do you not even believe it will be a change since I've heard many programs don't abide by those rules in the first place? Will the changes allow residents to be as prepared as those who worked longer hours?
