Has anyone tried the new Apple keyboard? It comes bundled with the new iMacs, but you can also buy it separately.

I really like it. It's super thin, and the keys are very responsive and extremely quiet. The keyboard is small, so it does take some getting accustomed to. I went with the wired keyboard since the wireless version doesn't have a numeric keypad.

Same here. I have the new iMac and got the wired one because it has the numeric keypad. Typing is really fast on this thing and I like it a lot. 🙂

anyone know if the wireless one will let my MBP work with the lid closed when connected to an external monitor? i never use numeric keypads anyway - and the wireless keyboard looks super slick.😍

Give me a "clicky" 386-era IBM keyboard any day, those are my favorite.

I used the last model bluetooth keyboard with my macbook in lid closed mode with an external monitor and bluetooth mouse and never had any problems. I wouldn't think that has changed.
