New dean from UCSF to NYU?

What is it really affecting on students? I heard that the new dean of NYU from UCSF is the best oral surgeon, which means what? Can many students from NYU graduates have a chance to go OMFS specialty? As a pre-dental, I was wondering how much it influence on education itself.
Anyone can guess?

Absolutely nothing - after all the dean does not design/model the curriculum - more administrative purposes.
