This one came up in team today, and I'm hoping it goes viral: 😀

"She's just not synaptic."
(RN's description of psychotic female who requires repeated redirection on same topics.)

Heard any other good ones lately?

I once heard a doctor describe a patient who had developed gained 20 pounds on Olanzapine as follows:

"She was poorly suited to the drugs metabolic ambitions" 🙂

A patient who was stoned with haldol, was presented as " under the influence of haldol "

"I kid you not judge, this one's a hood wreck."

- from a case manager to the DJJ drug court judge

injectable medication = "booty juice"

When someone comes in demanding that, I find it hard to keep a straight face and avoid making comments that would get me brought up on charges.
