New FA vs 2015 FA help

during school times i heavily annotated my 2015 FA, and now that im coming up to dedicated study period, i bought the new 2016 FA. My problem is i dont know what to do with UW and reading FA, because my old fA has a lot of good concepts i annotated, but its so messy and things are highlighted and its annoying to even look at it, while my new FA is nice and clean, and now i know how to annotate without getting it messy. So i was thinking when i see a q in UW to read it in my new FA, and look at the corresponding page annotations and see what i like and add it in, only thing is that it might be time consuming. ANyone else have any experience or can share any wisdom on what to do?

Just copy your annotations from FA 2015 to FA 2016 using few words without writing sentences. I advise against adding UW in the mix as it will be very time consuming.
Not only it reduces the clutter but also helps understand & review FA+Notes.
That's what I did.

did you do that in a straight go? or while you were going through UW?
