Can anyone report on the New Hanover program? How competitive? When do you start cutting? How benign vs malignant?

I did my MS3 clerkship here - the residents operated all the time from the beginning, really ran everything, very small and friendly. This was a happy group.

Operate a ton from day 1. Lots of autonomy. Lots of trauma. Lots of vascular. Busy, but laid back learning atmosphere. Fairly competitive. Do well on tests, be normal on interviews, and you'll have a shot.
