wow what is going on? i thought the caribbean schools were pretty much safe from hurricanes and that ivan was a freak show, but now emily again just one year later?? crazy

Hurricane Emily was nothing like Ivan, and was barely even a hurricane when it passed over the island. I was staying at the Grand Beach Resort when Emily passed through, and I never even lost power or water. The north coast did get hit harder, though.
