For New Jersey, State Regulations states:

For what period of time may a C.D.S. prescription be held, before it can no longer be legally "filled"?
A C.D.S. prescription must be presented for filling no more than 30 days after the date on which it was written, regardless of the schedule. (N.J.A.C. 8:65-7.5(a))
(CDS = Controlled Drug Substance)

Does this mean the prescription has to be Filled within 30 days or Presented to the pharmacy within 30 days?

Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks
