I got a new job at a dental clinic before couple weeks. My application was already e-submitted before that and I am already verified. I called AADSAS to ask if I could make changes in my application and they said no. Should I email each school to let them know that I will be working this whole year? I don't want them to think that I will be just sitting at home, since my application shows no classes nor any current job ( I quit my last job coz I wanted to study for DAT). Or should I just wait until the secondaries show up? Thanks!

wait until the secondaries. on most of them, they ask you if you have anything more to add to your app, and what you've been doing since you graduated etc.

Congrats on the new job!

Congrats. I remember how hard you were looking for a dental job.

That sounds good.

conrgats also.

Thanks guys! Yea I have been looking for this job from such a long time. Finally I got it so I decided not to take any classes and just work full time. I guess I will just wait till the secondaries show up. Good luck to you all.

if you think it's really important to tell adcoms about your new job (and it is!!) - another thing you could also do is type up a short letter to each school summarizing what you'll be doing and how it's important. that way it's on a completely separate piece of paper in your application file and it kind of forces them to look at it... which is good! just a thought...
