So a kaplan rep came to my school today to show off the benefits of their new step 1 prep course series. The 50 hour lecture series complete with page indications to follow along with for first aid. It also gives you quizzes every 30 minutes or so. He gave us a demo of it and I must say, it looks fantastic. Doctors in Training has the first aid emphasis as well and i was wondering if anyone could comment on the new Kaplan course if they have subscribed to it, e.g. if you like it or not, or how effective is it for you or anything else that comes to mind that you wish to comment on. This would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I don't think you even know what i'm talking about. Nevermind. In any case, from what i've heard, Kaplan's new course is much better than their previous ones.

FYI, if anyone wants to try it out kaplan offers a full refund within two weeks of buying the course/qbank.

I was given a copy through a school program. It is pretty good. I really found it helpful for biochem especially and basically for anything that I don't want/have other materials besides first aid for, but the major feedback that I have given them so far is their quiz questions are REALLY buggy sometimes. I wish there were a few more embryo lectures, but like they said it is a high yield program. I'm not sure how much they are pricing it for, but personally I wouldn't have paid much extra for it on top of the qbank price (I'm personally more of a visual learner and I get distracted when I have my laptop with me). However, several of my friends using it love it and are using it as their main supplement material to go with first aid.

Ahhh lucky you for getting it through your school program. It's costs about 400 something with a 30% AMA discount. Thanks for the feedback.I appreciate it!

the First Aid team has their own video course as well on their website..... U might want to demo that as well before deciding.
