New Kaplan DAT book- a waste?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
a lot of people criticize it, but its actually pretty good. Its not as indepth as some other books, but then again there isn't just one magic book that you can rely your entire studying on.

i found it helps set a really good foundation, so that when you go over certain sections in shaums or examkrakers, you wont have to waste time with the basics, and instead you can focus on the small details that usually trip people up on the exam

sorry to tell u this but this book is the same exact thing as the previous yrs versions. word for word.

Busdent's right, the only thing kaplan ever changes in their books is the front cover, & MAYBE the first few intro pages, but that's typically it!

what's even sh#$$y is that they claim to spend $4.5 million annually on research and upgrades. I have yet to see a single different question in their practice test in book and the one on the cd.

agh
was the previous edition at least any good?

They are all the same. I mean you def. need Kaplan book to study for the DATs. you can also use your textbooks for more info.

After taking Achiever's PAT section, it seems like Kaplan's PAT sections, especially angles and hole punching are a joke.
