Ok where are the Resident Democrats & Education "specialists" with particular knowledge of the New Law?
What's the deal or prospects for Physicians?
I haven't read the act yet and as you can tell yes I'm begging for the abridged version but a quick google of the sponsors website , Miller D- California, seems to indicate that this not only provides better educational programs to aspiring middle class students.. but that 10 year "service" followed by LOAN FORGIVENESS caught my eye but so far I see firefighter, nurse etc...
Who knows the inside out of the new law? Does it pre suppose all docs will be fabulously wealthy or are there any nuggets for the struggling resident ?
Let me know.. I'll start doing my research when I have time .. But so far I'm on my own dollar anyway having had a bad "experience" with Fed Programs in the past <g> but I'd be interested in seeing what this new LAW aspires to do.
My guess is it's just another in a long procession of great ideas with very little follow thru.
