New look?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Oh my God, MassEffect, you can't just ask people why they're white.

Or say that they look strange. :meanie:

I have arrived.

I think he's referring to the fact that SDN's background and pages are all white in color? It looks like this for me too. Maybe we're doing something wrong?

They know what he means. :meanie:

I heard something about SDN moving to a new platform - maybe that has something to do with it? I'm not crazy about the new look, though.

This. It looks funky and not in a good way.

I've had this problem. It is a random error that pops up, sometimes you can fix it by going to the bottom of the webpage and manually changing your template between SDN 2012 to SDN Classic to SDN mobile. This is in the bottom left scroll down window (VERY BOTTOM LEFT).

None of that worked, so I'm just leaving it on SDN classic

note that if you go to sdn mobile, you can change it back by clicking "default style" in the upper right.

But yeah, problem is back for me now, I dont know for sure but I think it's a problem in one of those templates. Sometimes it just goes away on its own, very perplexing.

It didn't work. I don't think it's an individual browser issue because it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.

I just tried refreshing several times. I tried this on the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and IE. But it's the same white background/page on all of them. If it's a new look and not a bug or something else, I personally like the old look way better!

I'm pretty sure it's a bug. if you hit ctrl-refresh (ctrl-f5 on pc's) then it sometimes fixes it only to return later.

ctrl-refresh didn't work.

changing it to sdn classic looks fine, but if I go back to sdn 2012 its still messed up, so I'm leaving it on classic for now. Something mst be wrong with part of the 2012 setup.
