Is there any chance that the MSAR will be updated with the actual 2016 matriculant data in regards to the new MCAT scoring system before July? (I know that they roughly have the data for the applicants but not specially the matriculants).

No.

Alrighty, thanks for the responses. That is what I figured, but I have heard from some of the admissions committee at one school that they expected to see more stratification of accepted MCAT scores since the new test is not proven and may value the MCAT less over the next few application cycles. I was just curious if we would have access to any of that information before turning in the secondaries to get a better feel for things, but I guess the fun continues of being stuck right in the middle of the change from not having practice exams before taking the real thing to not knowing exactly how schools will react to scores.

I called the schools I was interested in applying to and asked for an estimate of the MCAT scores for this year's class.

Top tiers are at about 518, mid tiers are 508-510

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it is about the same percentiles as the old MCAT other than lower for the mid tiers if 508-510 is the mean.
