So, I have all the old MCAT Exam Kracker prep books including the 1001 questions for everything. Should I still use those to study for the 2015 MCAT? Because as I understand it, doing content review and not focusing on problems is not the best way to go with the MCAT. But I don't want to use the old study materials only to find that the question layouts are different and that they aren't of any help.

What do I do? Do any of you know if the old study tools are still okay?

The books generally have the same content, just supplement the sociology and psychology topics with some outside reading. Check the AAMC website to see what topics to not look over in the older books and what topics to read for the Soc/Psyc section of the exam.

Those books for studying the content would certainly be useful. The MCAT is all about strategy though, old or new exam, so make sure you're familiarizing yourself again and again with the format of the new test by doing a lot of practice.
