Does anyone know when AAMC will be making the new MSAR available for those applying this summer for Fall 2011 admission?

They don't change much yearly. You could probably get one that is a year old for much cheaper.

Under the publication information of the current version, it says "Revised annually; new edition available in early spring."

Wrong. The newest edition for this year will not be updated until early April.

last year's edition (2010-2011) is only $18 on amazon... should I jump the deal on this instead of waiting for the 2011-2012 edition? What differences would there be other than minute GPA and MCAT score differences?

Some new schools have blank data panels (Commonwealth, UCF, FIU). Maybe they'll be filled on the next round.
