Thoughts? I'm interested in getting all 3 self-assessments, considering that I already have the AAMC exams...i'm taking the MCAT on 7/14...and I still have a bunch of EK and TPR problems to go through, not to mention 3 Gold Standard exams and 5 old AAMC's left. Is this something worth getting at this point, or should I just focus on the material in front of me? The word "official" sounds appealing... This is a new resource, so I guess I can't ask for anyone's experience...

Thanks in advance for the help!

There's another thread about this: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=923491

I've only taken the biology assessment, but I felt like it was very good practice. I think there were 21 or 22 passages (with fewer questions per passage than the real thing) and some discretes. It's not perfect - there are definitely more easy questions than moderate or hard and the categories they say the questions are in are a bit dubious. However, I think it was worth it for me to get extra practice and an idea of my weaker spots.

The passages (or some of them anyway) are taken from the questions cut from the longer exams (5R,7R) etc. I actually thought these were definitely worth the $ early on in studying - especially to get a feel for passages without wasting an AAMC.

Let me know if anyone wants more info.
