I'm about to send in my second AMCAS application. I think that my personal comment essay
was the strongest part of my application--do I need to write a new one for this year? 😛

you should ask this in pre-allo as that forum is much more active. Even though your PS is the strongest part of your application, you should still include accomplishments over the past year. Medical schools would like to see significant accomplishments since you've had a year to be productive.

I agree with Hero's advice. This is your chance to show what you've done recently and why you are a better applicant now.

Not to mention, if the essay didn't work the first time... (I think you can finish the sentance)
