Has anyone heard about Touro University? I haven't seen any threads on this. They are admitting for Fall 2005 for those who are applying this year.

New schools aren't accredited and are not eligible for full accreditation until they have graduated their first class. There are several current pharmacy students at the newer schools on here that can explain the process more in depth.

😕 Just too many new pharmacy schools opening today. But the sad thing is the trend to accept students + quality of producing good pharmacists tend to decrease...Am I wrong?
I wish U. South Fla would open a Pharmacy college. 🙁

True true, the program is new - but I sorta have this biased opinion that if the school is alraedy established.. than they probably have a better idea of how to run things. I know this isn't the right mentality... just look at USN, new school/new program - they're doing great! 🙂 My cousin goes to HICP - says it's a nice program & that ppl shouldnt worry too much.
I gotta say... HICP has a much better website than Touro. 😀
