New pre-optometry resource

Hi everybody! I recently made a website targeted to pre-optometry students. I did this because the resources for optometry school are very uncentralized, requiring optometry school hopefuls to search in different places for information. It's a good starting point for those who are interested in optometry and a comprehensive guide for applying. Please check it out and tell your pre-optometry students about it. Feedback is much appreciated!

iiiimonica: I'm not too sure how to host other blogs, but I'll be more than happy to link other optometry student blogs if anybody has one!

Perhaps place the advertisements in a less prominent position? All the ads made me think I went to a wrong site at first, like those sites you get when you accidentally type a wrong address (like, www.ebya.com) until I looked more closely and finally saw that there actually was content that wasn't advertising. =P Sites full of advertising are a turn-off...I know it's necessary, but at least place it way over on the right side (Google-style), on the bottom, or somewhere less intrusive. =) Otherwise, it looks good so far.

Hey scvcstar, thanks for the input! I took your advice and so I put the main ad on the upper right of the page instead. It seems much cleaner! As far as the links you gave me - I'll make sure to add them as soon as I have a links page. Thanks!!!
