Hi everyone!

I am planning to apply to pharm school next year, but would like to know a little more about the LORs. My classmate told me she's sending in five LORs, but I thought you were only supposed to send in three. Does anyone know if 3 is a minimum, or the exact number the schools want? 😕

I think it depends on which school you are applying to. My school only wanted 3. I think some schools will take more than that though.

I think some schools make it pretty clear that they want three and only three and if anymore than three show up it's just an annoyance and will go into the trash.

It really is dependant on the school...each tells you exactly how many they need. I've never heard of any school requesting more than 3 so you really should be alright! My school sends out a packet with all the letters of recommendation together in one envelope so if your school offers this service, you should definitely utilize it!
